“Who Were the People” is a centerpiece video of the exhibit “American Democracy: A Great Leap of Faith” at The Smithsonian National Museum of American History. This animated infographic gives a detailed depiction of who could vote and how many representatives each state was entitled to based on its population.The current version is a musical and remapped version of what you can find in the exhibition.
